About the
resources
Older people living with advancing frailty are nearing the end of life, and yet their palliative care needs are often unknown or unmet.
The Living and Dying Well research team aims to improve the support provided to community-dwelling older people living with frailty, and their unpaid carers, to enable the best possible quality of life in their final years. To do this we have developed and curated the resources below.
Resources
These resources, which are constantly being developed, include:
The PALLUP Educational film
Brings together the thoughts and experiences of community-dwelling older people living with advancing frailty and unpaid carers on what and who they feel is most important to them in living their lives well.
The PALLUP Toolkit
Supporting health and social care professionals, organizational leaders and policy makers to develop teams to enact local change and improve care for older people with advancing frailty
Resources on Frailty
Supporting professionals to learn more about frailty and develop their own and their teams’ competencies. Including resources that can support services to support the voice of older people and their unpaid carers in services and evidence building, and to become more research ready.
